Film Session: Minnesota
Here’s Ferrell getting yet another ball screen at the top of the key and he takes it left:
And here’s Minnesota’s defense again paying a ton of attention to him. Bryant’s man goes to protect the strong side of the rim while Morris rotates down to Bryant and gives Williams room in the right corner:
Ferrell comes through to the left block and now Morris has a body on Bryant. This leaves Williams even more open:
Ferrell leaps and throws the pass to Williams as he heads out of bounds:
Williams rises up and connects on the triple:
With Ferrell drawing so much attention on the drive, it freed Williams for the score here.
