Here’s something you may have missed on the ill-advised alley-oop toss from Troy Williams to Yogi Ferrell at the end of the first half. Ferrell actually called for the lob:
With Blackmon Jr. also available to his left, Williams tosses up the lob instead:
Williams throws it high enough if it was himself trying to throw it down. But it’s too high over the rim for Ferrell and all he can do is get a hand on it with no control:
