Class of 2016 Overland, Colorado forward De’Ron Davis is ready to make his college announcement.

Overland coach Danny Fisher tells Inside the Hall that Davis will announce his choice on Thursday, Nov. 12 at his high school at 3 p.m. MT.

Davis is considering Indiana and Mississippi State. He took official visits to both schools. According to Aaron Matas, Davis will also sign his National Letter of Intent on Thursday.

The 6-foot-8 forward has been recruited by Indiana for more than three years and is the No. 38 prospect nationally according to the 247Composite.

Right over on the side of this page there’s a line to a tweet saying Kegler has narrowed down to IU, Mississippi St., and Maryland.

  • Bill Graham

So before the Bridges tragedy I frequented his twitter and it was all MSU. If you check DD’s its all Hoosiers! –just an observation

  • TomJameson

I agree. Kegler to Mississippi, Davis and Brown to IU. That’s my wish-list anyway.

  • Bill Graham

So your saying you’re a troll?

  • TomJameson

You are such a #$@% troll!! Should some of us get on the Miss boards and ask about the “smell” of the recruiting? Get off this site! Go home to your football and baseball first school and leave the basketball to the ones who know what that is … Indiana!

  • Bill Graham

Can you imagine. Brown and Johnson (two 6-3 imposing guards) and we only get bigger and stronger from there.

  • TomJameson

    GO HOME TROLL!!!

  • Bill Graham

Your team wasn’t even ranked in the top 100 in any offensive stat last year. What did you come to this site to see what offense looks like?

  • Bill Graham

So Blueitt, Abel, and now Brown… I’m beginning to develop a grudge…

  • Nashville Hoosier

    Your’e hilarious! Keep it up!

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

    Wow! Good one Tom!

  • 256Bradley

not a troll. just a fan talking facts. maybe IU can b a 5 or 6 seed in the Big Ten Tournament maybe. I watched yall get blow out by Syracuse last year

  • 256Bradley

1st iam a BAMA guy. also we got a guy yall wanted Braxton Key aka Braxton Blackwell. didn’t Purdue get a big time post recruit last year who did yall get. I 4got about Notre Dame. yall definitely ain’t da best in state. lets no 4get INDIANA STATE

Hey man I agree with you that Indiana is the far superior option, but I can see some of the appeal he may find in being coached by Howland. But I think his decision will come down to the NBA and in not sure I can hop on board with saying Crean is better than Howland. They’re both pretty good at that aspect, but Howland has the much more extensive list right now. And not all of them were five stars either if I’m not mistaken.

I’m also not buying Thomas being around two years. I say that’s fifty fifty right now. If he wants to get to the next level he needs to showcase an ability to guard guys bigger and more athletic than him, but also to be able to play and guard out on the perimeter. If Bryant is gone he won’t get to do a lot of the second part. He will some, just because Crean isn’t a back to the basket throw to your big all game coach. But still the crux of his time will be spent banging inside.

  • SilentBob

Yea I saw that. If you’re referencing the me saying the site hasn’t listed it part of my comment, then I shall clarify. There has been no article on this about that like there is with Davis. When that happens that usually means it’s because Alex doesn’t seem to think we have much of a chance. Maybe I’m wrong and he will do an announcement primer, but if he doesn’t that’s a pretty big sign he doesn’t think Kegler is coming here.

Is your car still at the bottom of the IHOP sink hole in Meridian?

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

No. Not delusional at all to believe in that. Not at all.

  • TomJameson

I think the only differences we have (and really minor ones I think) is that you give the “coaching for the NBA” edge to Howland and I give it to CTC, mainly because of physical development and NBA coaches endorsements.
The only other thing is prediction the future, which neither one of us has a lock on. LOL Will TB stay for a 2nd year or go. I think he stays because I think he’s smart and gets it. But if he does, I think Davis still gets to play the 3-5 range. Reason is we just don’t know who else may come in. We just don’t know. So mainly, Yeah, I’m guessing. 🙂

  • TomJameson

You’re no fan, you have no facts, and you are just trying to blow up this board in hopes of stirring things up in case a recruit is browsing. You are up to no good.

  • TomJameson

Yes I can! With what we have now, add in Davis and Brown, that adds up to a very, very good team.

  • ThatGuyMike

I think Mississippi State might say other wise. So much for Kegler…

  • IU Hoosiers # 34, 1979-83

Correct. Let’s see who will be committing to IU for the 2016 class. I really hope things go well.
