Class of 2016 Oak Hill Academy (Va.) forward Mario Kegler has set dates for four of his official visits, including one to Bloomington.

Kegler’s guardian and AAU coach, Omhar Carter, confirmed to Inside the Hall that the IU visit will be the weekend of October 23-25.

Additionally, visits have been set for Arizona State (Sept. 18-20), Penn State (Sept. 25-27), Maryland (Oct. 15-17).

Kegler, the No. 32 prospect nationally according to the 247Composite, will take one more official visit, but that date is not set. According to Courtney Cronin, Mississippi State is likely to receive the final visit.

The 6-foot-7 forward starred at Arlington Country Day in Florida last season and Callaway High School in Jackson, Mississippi prior to that, but transferred to Oak Hill for his final season.

Kegler would be a big time get….I like him as much as I like Rawle…..

Is Alkins worth waiting on if you could land Kegler now?

Totally different players who would fill different roles. Hope we get them both…but… Not sure Alkins is realistic for the Hoosiers any more. Hope we have a shot at Mario.

Psyched to get an official from this kid. Unfortunately, Miles Bridges appears to be MSU bound…nothing official yet but judging by twitter and other articles it would appear Izzo has all but landed him…Disappointing. but I’ll keep my fingers crossed until its official.

Just be like Grant Gelon and commit on the spot. IU fans everywhere would be perfectly ok with that.

Good sign that we get his last visit….opportunity to blow him away in comparison to the other programs.
