2016 Oak Hill Academy (Va.) forward and IU recruiting target Mario Kegler scored seven points in Team Do Be Do’s 111-110 win over Team EZ Pass in the Under Armour Elite 24 game in Brooklyn, New York.

Kegler scored all his points in the first half, only seeing a little court time in the second half. Watch his highlights below:

I think there is an error with the reported score.

I know with I’m going to risk getting these kind of comments….”but its about the type of player.”….or “ya but that was just one game,”….or “you cant judge just by whats on the stat sheet”…..and so on….but:
I dont want the guy who scores 7 points….I want the guy who scores 14 or more.
I’ll be ecstatic to get Alkins but happy to get Kegler.

I feel ya. Alkins is without a doubt the superior player. But the article did mention that Kegler didn’t really play the second half so maybe if he did he would have got those 14 points. It’s an all star type event and they try to spread the minutes around amongst the guys who aren’t five stars. I think Hartman, Juwan, OG, and Mario would make up a pretty nasty rotation at the three and the four with each adding a little something different
