blah, blah, blah (X’s 1,000)… lots of words that just show how inept and out of touch with reality he is. Really… rebounding and second chance points are the first thing you want to talk about? then the refs? the refs kept us in the game in the second half… you should be thanking them. The fact that we don’t get better over the course of the season, and that guys like Fuchs and Burton are getting 2nd half minutes over healthy scholarship players that have been there all year says everything we need to know about the coaching.

Who is “Andum?” He mentioned him 25 times. Is he a center we are recruiting?

  • eville87

Man the pressure at the after game conferences is getting a little intense. He didn’t like the questions about losing 7 of 11 or the fans not supporting the most recent collapse. But they had high energy with no frustration. I would feel bad for him if didn’t make almost 58k a week.

  • MillaRed

“I think you get over frustration in the 5th or 6th grade.” LOL. What?

He is frustrated in this interview!!!! He won’t let anyone finish their questions. If he is like this in the locker room I totally understand why we are where we are right now. No way in H would I respect it.

You want to coach Indiana, make it to the big time, collect your millions in salary, you only have to do one thing: WIN. As he loves to say “bottom line”, Tom Crean is not leading Indiana to wins. Despite incredible talent, our team is just not good.

  • eville87

At least the kids had a good week of practice.

  • ScoopGeoff

Just watched it again… Even funnier the second time!!!

  • Zach

Yeah and I hear he’s 6’6 with shoes on!

  • Shane Flannagan

Sorry but his job is most likely on the line Saturday. Totally unacceptable that this time not at least get a tourney bid. Total joke of an effort tonight also.

  • SeeingRed

Rambling, almost incoherent and disconnected with real events, with a dose of unearned arrogance. He doesn’t honestly address questions that are actually asked — he just uses them as a jumping off point to say the same tired stuff week after week. If this is how he communicates with players, I can see why there are problems.

  • KmanCRK

from a comment Hanner told a friend of mine, they are often clueless as to what he is talking about.

  • KmanCRK

Good thing the “Players got better” when Coach Belichick spoke to them.

Or that every single player has improved significantly this year

Crean owes at least half of his buyout check to Zeller, and a quarter of it to Olidipo. He wouldn’t have gotten Yogi without Zeller and he wouldn’t have hung a Big Ten Champ banner or given out sweet sixteen rings without Zeller.

  • Show-Me-State HOOSIER

It’s already on the line! He should be GONE.

  • bvillehoosier

You wouldn’t use the word “frustrating” as a way to describe the game??? What word would you use then coach? Disgusting? Horrible? Inept? Unmotivated? Piss-poor? Take your pick because it was all of those. You can tell the pressure’s on by the way he was acting in this clip especially there at the end…he knows it may be bye bye time

  • SCHoosier

Well see that ‘s where Bobby was so good. When he had his hands around your throat..u understood him.

  • SCHoosier

Damn..Bill B took the air out of our ball too!

  • SCHoosier

Wasn’t he the guy in the garden with Eve? (no Milla not Madison Sq Garden)

What does Shaka Smart and RIck Pitino do when they have 9 guards and little front-court size? They run press defense the whole game, and try to take advantage of their depth in quickness and speed. If the other team is going to get anything they want on Offense because we can’t defend, then shake it up. Try something NEW cause your getting better each week in practice trash isn’t working in games. We have speed, USE IT.
