Film Session: Butler
Troy Williams inbounds the ball to Ferrell:
Isolated up top with Indiana spread to open up the middle, Ferrell blows by Jackson Aldridge, another Bulldog defender that can’t stay in front of him:
Ferrell gets by him left and draws contact at the rim on a make for an and-1 opportunity. He ended up missing the free throw, one of two he missed on the afternoon (7-of-9):

The last two plays aren’t overly complex. It’s just a talented junior point guard using his quickness against helpless defenders for buckets at the cup.
