I don’t buy the emotion… Looked fake to me. Worst thing that can happen to Indiana this year is we do just good enough to keep him around.

Dude, really? Crean had plenty of moments where he could’ve blubbed, but was constantly trying to regain control of his emotions. I’m not Crean’s #1 fan, but I don’t think that he was auditioning for Hollywood here.

  • Crazy Chester

Yeah really, I don’t buy it.

    Oh Crazy Chester being crazy

  • IUfanPurduePhD

You should change your name to Cynical Chester. 🙂

  • IUfanforever

Crazy is about right for your name…..you gotta be the biggest moron ever on these posts! Watch a parent fear for the life of their child and being a parent yourself and tell me you wouldn’t be emotional? I do not mind questioning CTC with X’s & O’s but your out of your mind to question his emotions when he was witnessing the possibility of a player dying and another 18 year old having to live with that for the rest of his life! What a Moron and a jerk of a post and comment! Wow your unbelievable! You need to be fired from these posts and should never be on here again!

One thing you cant say is that Coach Crean doesnt care about his players.
No doubt he is a great guy, I think a really good coach and some may be disagree, but you cant tell me hes not a great guy.

If anyone (except this Chester guy) doesn’t understand how the Davis /Holt incident impacted the IU basketball family, Crean’s reaction to questions about that situation should change your mind. An absolutely honest and heartfelt effort to keep his emotions and thoughts under control. I you can’t understand that…I have to question your motives.

I’m not a crean fan as a coach. But as a person. And a Christian he has my support. I think it’s obvious that he cares about the kids.
