i realize this is a highlight reel, and he’s only 3 games in…but he’s going to be really, really good after he makes the adjustment.

It is so cool to see NV and CZ on the court together.

Can’t help but think of what could have been…

  • I’ll be surprised if Marvin Williams isn’t the starter at power forward. Charlotte signed him after McRoberts left for Miami.

Nice put in by Cody with the pass for vonleh after the rebound! At 4:25

I don’t watch much NBA but they signed Williams after Hayward was matched by the Jazz. Could Willams play SF?

like i said, his offense (and FT shooting, cripes!) needs some work, but his uncanny rebounding ability will get him on the floor. amazing how, in a group of players, he always gets his hands on the ball.

personally, i’m really hoping he gets some tats, pierces his nose, and dyes his hair green. the nba needs another worm!

Vonleh and Zeller will both benefit from having Ewing as a coach

  • E Foy McNaughton

18 rebounds….. That’s impressive…… I think he will be really good, but may cost CZ some playing time. I hope CZ carves out a niche backing up the 5 and the 4 — Charlotte is going to good next year.

Marvin Williams would be a bit undersized to have next to an average defensive center in Jefferson. From what I’ve read it seems that if things work out and Cody can develop a bit more by the time the season starts that they are working for him to start. At least by the end of the season I see it being Cody, but a lot more teams are going the unconventional route so who knows. He’s just gotta start shooting more confidently and I’d say it’s his spot to lose.
