Morgan Park won back-to-back Illinois Class 3A state titles over the weekend thanks to a comeback 59-49 victory against the Lincoln Railsplitters.

Below are some selected highlights from class of 2014 Indiana recruiting target Josh Cunningham.

The 6-foot-7 forward scored 13 points and grabbed nine boards in his team’s victory, despite not playing the entire second quarter due to foul trouble. Cunningham also saw triple teams from time to time, as the Railsplitters paid him plenty of attention down low in their 1-2-2 zone.

Love how hard he goes on the glass. Sign him up

Adding Cunningham and Lee would be really helpful.
+ Josh seems like a solid multi-year team member with a nose for winning, curious though why he hasn’t caught on with another school before now?
+ Lee is an ideal fit now that we know what Noah is doing. He’s a proven post player that’s older versus all our Sophomores and Freshman.
+ Regardless of how things play out Yogi will be the man next year with several mouths to feed in Troy, Stan, James, and Robert.
+ Austin and Devin are steady Eddies, developing as should be expected
+ Jeremy, Hanner, and Max are wild cards that could surface
    + Peter a mystery

I probably take this guy. Maybe he becomes the player we all thought Jeremy was gonna be. Looks like we may have a open scholly or two anyway.

    That 9th rebound was impressive…

If he’s interested in playing time and staying reasonably close to home IU has to look pretty good right about now.

plenty of room after mass transfers that are happening now

recruit indiana players bob knight did and did pretty good didnt he

  • Derek

He also did good with out of state recruits too. Its not like crean does not recruit the state of indiana.

He’s okay, but he doesn’t solve our post problem for next year.

We need scorers..JC is pretty slick (if thin) around the basketball. If he can defend and stick his nose in on the boards..I think he’s worth a shot.

Basically everything you post is the complete opposite of truth. I don’t know where you get this stuff. You might of heard of Cody Zeller, Yogi Ferrell and next years 9th ALL TIME INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL SCORING LEADER, James Blackmon Jr (only to name a few, because CTC has recruited and landed many more than that)….

However, Victor Oladipo, DJ White, Kirk Haston, AJ Guyton, Alan Henderson and Isiah Thomas are just a few ALL AMERICANS that are just as much Hoosiers than someone born in the state of Indiana.

He’s OK? Really? This kid is clearly a winner. Two high school state championships in Illinois 3A. Poised, articulate, hardworking. This is exactly the type young man we want representing our program, on the court and off.
