Film Session: Sheehey and Stan
Iowa goes to a 2-3 zone in the halfcourt against the Hoosiers:
After some movement around the perimeter, Ferrell swings to Hollowell:
With Zach McCabe coming up to meet Hollowell and ward off a 3-point attempt, Hollowell swings it down to Robinson in the corner:
Unlike a few possessions back when he jacked a 3-pointer that missed, Robinson goes to the rim. Basabe fails to get his body faced up on Robinson, allowing a bit of an angle for the freshman:
With some good body control, Robinson gets into Basabe to draw the contact, a foul and he then converts at the line for a 3-point play:
Robinson’s drives usually come from the top of the key or off the wing, but he showed an ability to take it in from the corner here as well.
