  • Yea yea thanks for everything you did for us Cody but every IU fan knows he needed another hear. Some games he looked lost Syracuse made him look small and weak!! Dont get me wrong once we get to a final four we will owe it to Zeller for making it ok to come to IU but lets not act like he`s agaranteer top ten pick.

  • Great Hoosier, great ballplayer, great person! We thank you for the many great moments you provided us fans! We will miss you Cody, but wish you God’s speed ahead! Go IU ! “Keeping Indiana’s finest young homegrown ballplayers as Hoosiers”!

Mike, do not presume to speak for all IU fans that Cody needed another “hear”.
Like you I would have seen him follow his brothers and play four, but He is the best of the “Zeller Bunch” and will do just fine at the next level.

I knew from the moment we signed him (and how overjoyed was I that day) that I would be lucky to see the kid our uniform for two years, tops. Of course I hoped and prayed that he would be around for another but knew in my heart of hearts that he was gone.

I guess I will have a few more NBA teams to follow, what with DJ White playing for the Celtics, Gordon in Nawlins, and wherever these two dudes show up.

Such is the Humility of Cody is that it seems like he almost cringes a bit when Tom is singing his praise. The mark of a truly humble man.

    /aside warning

Earlier this evening, ’round sixish pm I realize at work that the press conference had concluded at least an hour and a half previous, decided to get everything caught up and attempt to kill three birds with a single stone with a short break (smoke), in order to get what the bartender might like me to bring him after work and whether Cody was going as I wanted to know sooner than later. God bless them both. When I returned to work, I informed my coworker of the situation and she was sadddened to hear the news.

They brought us another banner and we have a program again. I pray to have the opportunity to stumble into any of the guys on the street, that i might have the opportunity to thank them.

I just wish that either of the dudes had mentioned VJIII, Verdell was a man and it killed me that he had to miss out of participating in the NCAA tourney. “The Shot” would not happen without Verdell recognizing a call from a familiar voice and the instantaneous recognition to toss it to CWat

We should never forget VJ’IIIs contributions regarding the reconstruction of this program..
