Thank all of you guys for a great season. I am proud to be a Hoosier fan and to have witnessed our program turn around thanks to you. Don’t listen to any negative things you might hear from the peanut gallery. You guys brought us back and we love you!

  • Alex

Love the Sheehey video. “Nope. Can’t explain it. Sorry.” Stay real Will, stay real.

  • Geoff_85

You’re seriously the worst kind of “fan”. No one here wants to read a damn thing you have to say. Congrats on your prediction, I’m sure you’re glad it came true. Make sure you go around all off-season and tell all of your “friends” (who really hate you because of the type of person you are) how correct you were. I don’t mean to get personal, but…oh wait, yes I do. Seriously, go away.

Tough loss, great season! Thanks guys for giving us Hoosier fans a lot to be proud of ! All the best to Jordan, Christian & Derek .. class acts! Hope VO & Cody stay another year! Go IU !

UofL has short guards too but beat Cuse twice

Wonderful season guys, there’s always next year. Play harder and don’t get cocky. Proud to be a Hoosier and an avid follower of this righteous basketball program. Remember, we all love you guys… well, excluding bandwagoners. <3

  • BluegrassHoosier

Sheehey tries to be tactful when the cameras are rolling but his personality eventually gets the best of him. Can you imagine what it would be like to ask him a moronic question sitting on a bar without cameras?

  • BluegrassHoosier

The Hulls video demonstrates his passion. No one worked harder and cared more about IU than Jordy, and his incredible work ethic caused others to spend much more time in the gym.

Hope he sticks around the program in some way in the future.

Thank you Jordy for the memories! Good luck to you.

yeah, I kept thinking that the whole game. We are such a small team from top to bottom. Two 6 ft guards and a 6’4″ wing. We struggle with bigger teams in the half court because of that. L’ville presses to speed you up, and that is the difference. I don’t really like that philosophy though.

  • jpniles

I don’t care what anyone says. This is still my favorite and most important season of Hoosier players. I don’t care if they hung banner six or not. They brought the program back. From sub-.500 to a number one seed in The Tourney in two years. That is incredible. They have left an imprint on this fan-base and on the university. If we can’t be happy and appreciative about that, what kind of fans are we?

  • SCHoosier

SENIOR guards..who have faced that zone a dozen times in their careers.

  • SCHoosier

Obviously hurting young men..who despite their disappointment ..showed class in these interviews. Hoosiers…

  • Ole Man

We struggle in the half court with any team because we don’t have a very good half court offense. Period, end of story.

  • CreamandCrimson

Thanks for everything guys. This team was fun to watch, fun to root for, immensely likeable and eventually, Big Ten Champions. They truly care and I hope the guys who are on the squad next year pass the culture that has been developed on to the six newcomers.

Jordan Hulls on his March shooting struggles : “It will haunt me for the rest of my life”. If you don’t feel for him and the rest of these guys and you don’t appreciate what they have been able to do this season (despite the disappointment of last night)….well, you’re probably wasting your time on this site.

Interesting how Sheehey keeps slipping Vic in there when talking about the seniors. Does he know something for certain that the rest of us can only speculate about for now?

  • Earl Scheib

I can’t express how badly I feel for these guys. I loved watching them all year, and didn’t miss a game. They are all exemplary human beings, amazing athletes, and class acts. I will admire them forever. They brought Indiana basketball back to #1. Jordan, Christian, and Derek, may you continue your greatness. You’ve truly been an inspiration. God bless.

To be fair, that question had to be one of the worst I have heard and the person asking it deserved it.

I am as disappointed as anyone and this was a perfect chance for us to make a final four and when a title. In that aspect, it wasn’t a success. But in many others, it was:

*Big Ten Champs – First time since 1993

*#1 Ranking – First time since 1993, held it for 10 weeks.

*Winning on the Road – 7-2 in the Big Ten.

Now, for the rest of it, are you serious? I knew after the Kentucky game last year that people would quickly forget all of the accomplishments and be all over Crean this year for any slip-ups. Expectations have changed. While there were frustrations, to say he has gotten us as far as he will take us after this one year is insane.

*This was the players’ first time being the hunted rather than the underdog, and those returning will learn a great deal from it. It’s not an easy transition and requires a change in mentality.

*Do you think Crean wanted to have two 6′ guards? No, he did so because those were the best players we had (and great players at that), but in normal circumstances, we would not recruit for that.

We have done things this year that haven’t been done in 20 years. Do you think if we fired Crean that we would ever get a good coach to come here again?

Yeah that Vic is a lot like a senior in the sense that we’ve seen his last game as a Hoosier.. I would be really surprised if he even entertains the thought of coming back

  • A TRAIN

im still in pain but hav had a night to sleep on it…im really proud of the boys and the season they had and to the seniors thank you for your hard work and committment u ill b truly missed..cuse just had our number last night in my opinion the game never slowed down for us our minds just goin crazy, thats why we had all the turnovers missed shots and bad shots…it wasnt just one person or coach they all made mistakes but u win and lose as a team…im gonna miss posting on the games n players i HATE when the season ends..but i ll b back n pumped up for next year..lets just hope both vic n cody dont leave…thanks for the memories and go IU

  • HOOSIERS135

Yea but in a few years, we’re national contenders again. That’s just the cycle these days. Few teams are contending year in and year out.

Genius alert. I agree we don’t have a good half court offense, but if you think this little team was going to impose its will on every team they played, you’re an idiot. You can run all the screens and back cuts you want, but they had severe match up problems. Teams figured this out and exploited it. We had a better post presence last year.
