Lucy Lucky..take a few more quick shots..miss some more FT’s…UCLA or Gtwo by 12 if IU plays that way tomorrow night. Geez.

I get what you’re saying but if anything, this was a semi-neutral game in Indiana’s favor. There didn’t seem to be much fan support from Georgia tonight. That being said, I agree with you. This team didn’t seem comfortable at all in the first half. It might take them a few games to get used to playing away from Assembly Hall.

Ugly, ugly game. Glad IU pulled away but that wasn’t a #1 team- hopefully they can grow from this. What’s with Cody? I wonder if that illness was more then reported,l he has not looked like himself, and tonight seemed totally out of it. Hope they rip UCLA/G-town tomm.

    1. This is what you get after you play a bunch of low-tier teams at home over several weeks’ time. I suppose it may also be what you get when you’re super-hyped as the #1 team over an entire off-season.
    2. Just cannot expect to be #1 with two 5’11” guards. Sorry CTC, it just won’t work, and I guess it’s going to take a few losses for him to accept that.
    3. Yogi is no Trey Burke, and his performance tonight reminded me of various AAU and other high-level competition games I’ve seen him in. He was a wonder in high school, playing in a smaller-school bracket, but at this level, it’s going to take time, probably a year or two, for him to become an elite PG.
    4. I know all of you will hate to hear this, but Cody is a bit overrated (I’ve saying this for awhile now). A few more performances like this, and then maybe he’ll stay another year … imagine the scholarship crunch then! Speaking of which, I have a bet with a friend that this annual scholarship crunch is eventually going to hurt IU big time. It might take a couple more years, but it is going to come back to bite CTC and IU … a huge bite that will someday scare off a lot of good recruits.
