2013 Deer Valley (Antioch, CA) forward Marcus Lee recently trimmed his list of schools to seven and now is beginning to set up his official visit dates for the fall.

According to Adam Zagoria, Lee will visit Louisville on Sept. 20, Kentucky on Oct. 12 and Indiana on Oct. 20.

Lee is also considering California, Duke, Kansas and UCLA.

As for the timing of Lee’s visit, the official start of practice for college basketball this season is Friday, Oct. 12, but Indiana has not made an announcement yet on specifics for this year’s Hoosier Hysteria.

Fall break for students is Oct. 12-14, so it’s possible the first public practice could be pushed to another weekend to accomodate the break.

Last fall, Indiana held Hoosier Hysteria on a Saturday night as Gary Harris made his official visit following a Friday night football game for Hamilton Southeastern. And two years ago, a “Night of the Living Red” scrimmage was held on a Friday night during Cody Zeller’s official visit which was two weeks after the start of practice.

Given the importance of having public scrimmages or practices to highlight fan support for the program to recruits, the weekend of Oct. 20 looks like a prime candidate for such an event.
