Indianapolis Tech forward Trey Lyes chipped in seven points, eight rebounds and two assists in his 2014 USA Blue team’s 82-62 win against Team Australia to snag third place at adidas Nations in Long Beach, Calif. on Monday, Aug. 6.

I feel I care less about Trey’s performance now. Used to watch his every single video clip.

I hate seeing him wear Blue.

This game was on TV..saw a lot of it. Not Trey’s best game..but not bad. Best player on the floor was a guard from Aust. (#5 I think) Wonder who is recruiting him.

Yep, no desire to even watch this film. Must be tough on Alex or at least I know it would be tough on me!

  • I am still holding out hope for this kid. I know he wants to play with Blackmon. Does anyone think his decommitment has something to do with IU backing off Lyle recently?

Unfortunately you might have to get used to it! IMHO (really hope I’m wrong)

…from Camby, Indiana??? Is Camby part of the IPS system? Did they just move? Is he enrolled at Tech still?

Alex is in a different position than the rest of us. Completely understand why he feels ITH needs to continue the Trey coverage. At this point he really isn’t any different than any other prospect until he commits elsewhere.

As many of you noted, it is quite painful to see. But I suppose we should get used to it.

This kid looks pretty good. Anyone know anything about him? I think Crean should pursue him. I’ve been hearing of this other guy named Sean May, he’s from Bloomington so he should be a lock for us.

He went to Decatur Central Jr. High. My neice was in the same classes with him, have some friends that are familiar with Sr. They still live there as far as I know.

  • So I guess Ron Patterson is the unlucky player that will not be part of IU this coming season. I truly feel bad the guy, I hope the best for him. I was very excited to see him in candy stripes; seemed like a great player.
