Yes, please. (except we already have like 11 committed SF’s in the ’13 class so I’m not sure how that’d play out)

I like! Even got a few Semi Ojeleye highlights in there as well.

  • Arch_Puddington

This kid is 81st? Then there are 80 REALLLY good players somewhere in the world.

  • N71

Kuran’s game is similar to Jeremy Hollowell’s which is a compliment. He’s not quite as thick as Jeremy but may have a little sharper ball handling skills. The highlights don’t give any feel for rebounding which Jeremy is very good at or defense but regardless, who wouldn’t want a player like Kuran. With regards to recruiting, I’m getting to the point where I’m no longer concerned about it. We have enough strong players in process that when we loose a couple or a few we’ll still be stacked which is really all we need. We’re also able to develop guys well due to the staff and facilities so we’re good there too. We’ve proven now we can get it done in the early rounds of the NCAA tournament so now there’s only one thing left, bringing it at a Final 4. I’ve always been of the opinion that whoever makes the Final 4, it’s anyone’s game at that point. A Butler for example gets hot and at that point can beat anyone. Getting it done at a Final 4 will be the next and final test. Coach Knight obviously was an ace and Coach Crean shows great promise. Considering where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re headed, I can’t think of a better choice than Tom Crean for IU. We wouldn’t be this strong if we hadn’t gone to the bottom like we did. This allowed us to build things back, brick by brick and we’re solid as can be. We should have a 10 year run now like Duke did and win another 3 or 4 championships, I’m assuming repeating what UCLA did is impossible in the time and age.

He’s a stud, but how many SF do we need on the team?

I like what I see, but as everyone below has stated, how many sf can we take onto this team haha! Having too many players on our radar is something I am still getting used to, not a bad problem to have! -For the Glory of Old IU!

If CTC went into the lab of a mad scientist to manufacture his prototype player, I think it would look a lot like kuran.

  • Evansville Hoosier

I’m confused… What I see is a 6’8″ athletic wing, with good ball handling skill, a decent jumper, and good finishing ability. If he’s 81st, it’s gotta be that he can’t play defense or run sets or rebound… Or something? There has to be a problem, otherwise he wouldn’t have fallen like he did.

Still prefer Semi honestly. I’m just intrigued to see how these scholarships play out.

Looks like a McDonald’s All-American to me. I also like Russell, but latest CJ article I read lists OSU, UL and no IU as a school recruiting him the hardest.

    Great stroke. He Got Game.

Positions can change. Derek Elton was a SF coming in too. Not anymore.

  • Aceman_Mujezinovic_07

Wow, I’m really surprised seeing this. How is a 6’8″ SF who can run, shoot, finish, and use both hands only ranked 81st?

  • Dude looks sick but what worries me from this video is he seems very cocky and we usually stay away from those types here at Indiana.

  • SCHoosier

Smooth game..can shoot it..anybody know why his stock has dropped? If UCONN doesn’t have realNCAA problems..I’d think this kid will be #1 oe 2 on their radar.

  • Evansville Hoosier

Are you saying you think he dropped cause of perceived attitude problems? I definitely wouldn’t rule that out. Very curious situation though.

If we add Anya to the class we R gonna be beast!

  • Russell reminds me a lot of Johnny Dawkins that played at Duke, but I don’t see anyone beating out Louisville for him.

  • No I’m not saying he dropped in the ratings for that reason but rather I would not necessarily want him to become a Hoosier for that reason.

  • I’m not saying that he may have dropped in the ratings for that reason but rather I would not look for him to become a Hoosier for that reason. We have always had good hardnosed players that aren’t the big trash talkers and show boats.

  • marcusgresham

I didn’t watch the video, but Will Sheehey’s a bit cocky and personally, that’s one of my favorite things about him. You need a little bit of that sometimes.

  • Sheehey and Vic are a bit cocky but its a different kind of cocky that this guy seems to be.
