• Tim Duncan 2.0. Gonna be the best player since Calbert for our Hoosiers.

  • SirEric

He is so skilled. Its incredible.

  • Thalweg

    Incredible…. I don’t see anything I don’t like about his game.

  • Robert Sales

Silky moves. Will go great with Feathery moves. Exciting time to be a Hoosier fan.

  • Mr_Howard8h

    I’m glad he’s ours.

This guy is the real deal.  He can do it all.

  • WisconHoosier

Have fun guarding that, Big Ten.

  • Kelin Blab

    Skilled Skilled Skilled.
    Inside Out Game
    Hard to Handle

  • Arch_Puddington

He reminds me of me. As a young man I had a nerf goal in my first apartment, and I used many of the same moves.

  • IUoptometry

This kid will be so good at IU. High release on the jumper just like Tim Duncan. Cant wait to see him on the court for the Hoosiers.

  • SGHoosier

He could be a point forward or point guard ala Anderson (to be of UCLA) but faster.

  • Kenneth234

I would take his as he is right now!  But it would be nice if he gained another inch or 3.  Overall, it is scary that he has two full years to develope further, and pollish his game further.

    Kevin Martin

  • IU1972

Afraid he is so good he could be one-and-done, so we’ll have to be thankful for whatever we get.

I love the release point on his shot.  Even the three is released above his head.

  • N71

He’s great and getting better.  He’s the next Cody (cornerstone guy) and the NBA will surely be ringing his doorbell.  A class with Trey alone would make me happy.  Imagine Blackman getting back from injury and playing at a top 25 level.  Then you look at the 2014 board and wow, its loaded.  Any of those guys would be great additions.  Cliff Alexander…wow.  Jaquan…wow.  Trevon…wow.  This class will surely be special.

  • Hoosier KZ

This kid is special. What a talent. Can’t believe there are 7-8 guys ranked above him. Seems like a great young man as well.

  • SCHoosier

This kid’s got game! I assume he’ll be playing the 4 spot with Fisher likely in the middle. Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

  • SCHoosier

Yes..and he’s got a great pump fake with the quickness to use it (are you watching Watford?)

  • SCHoosier

Did you put an “f” on the end of nerf..when you should have put a “d” :)??

  • Arch_Puddington

Oh, I’ve got the nerd thing down as well. Killer moves in living room hoops, though.

  • Daburns0

Soft touch, up-and-under moves, handles.  What’s not to love about this guy.  Really liked the last move.

  • choochgas

Wow.  So smooth.  You watch the kid play and you forget that he is 6′-10″!   And he has two more years of high school!  The perfect replacement for CZ.

  • G. Mann

Poor Thad Matta.  What’s OSU gonna do now that CTC is locking up our best INstate players?

Speaking of which, does everyone think Blackman will be back to 100% by the time he is here? ACLs are scary…

  • Evansville Hoosier

He’s young, he’ll recover quickly. I’ve heard he’s already running. He’s 31st on ESPN’s board, so they obviously feel like he’ll make a full recovery physically, and that he’ll continue to progress.

  • HoosierDadE

Love the move at 25 seconds…Olajuwon shake?

  • HoosierKen73

In your dreams…’Big Guy’, even on a nerf goal… In your dreams… I’m just sayin’…lol…

  • HoosierKen73

Dn’t think the Duncan comparison is necessarily a good one. He seems a lot more athletic and quicker, more agile or mobile than Duncan. This guy is awesome…can you imagine if he’d grow another couple of inches, put on some muscle, without slowing down…gosh can’t wait to see him in candy stripes. Adding a guy like Cliff Alexander and Jaquan Lyles would make this a super class. Maybe in the ‘best ever’ catagory.  We’re coming into a great period in Hoosier basketball. Can’t wait.

Exactly what I was thinking. I’ve said for over two years now that if he would just use that one piece of fundamental bball it would help him sssooo much. This one short clip shows just how much it could help a player like CW who already possesses the outside shot to make it work. This may be the littlest thing that helps him the most to improve his draft status as it would add another whole dimension to his game not to mention how much it would help his team.

  • calbert40

Really wish I could click “like” about 10 times!  His release point is reminiscent of Duncan’s.  I don’t think his game is, though.  Seems to have more perimeter skill, but less interior game…at least as a 16 yr old.

     Cody Zeller is pretty good.

  •  Your right Cream, CZ is pretty good but Trey is going to be great. If CZ worked on his rebounding, blocks and being more physical than he would be a great player too.
