We should be playing today …Dammit

Couldn’t stop pUKe. Can’t expect to give up 102 points in regulation and win. Oh well, only good memories now! I hope L’ville presses the crap out of pUKe and teague commits like 12 TO’s and the result is a pUKe loss. Although I have to say, it’s very hard for me to root for any of these teams in the Final Four.

    Go Louisville!

Great season for Indiana basketball, with much to look forward to next season.  I saw on the Kansas sports website from the Lawrence Journal-World: “KU still is looking for a pair of marquee home games to begin home-and-home series.”  IU-KU, home-and-home 2012/13.  The Hall and Allen Fieldhouse.  A great matchup renewed (from the classics of the early 90s).  Now that would be fun…

How blessed to be a Hoosier fan and experience this season!  Think of it, Vic, Yogi, JH, Cody, & Will on the court together lighting it up from all over the court; the depth and talent of this team instilling FEAR into all of its opponents for years to come.  lmafo

As I look at a few of these photo’s things that come to mind are:
+ Remember when IU NEVER got ANY dunks in a game. Now those days are over AND in comes…Perea, Jurkin, Hollowell, and Patterson

+ This team enjoyed playing together, you can see it on their faces.

+ The Kentucky game had so so so many great moments beyond the ‘wat shot’

+ Alford coming back to IU even while coaching was a really good thing and good move.

Our OOC SOS will definitely improve, I’ll tell you that. We’ve got that tournament in the new arena in brooklyn, and I think a game against KU might get us in the top 15-20 in SOS.

If we ended up playing KU and got rid of a few of the “cupcakes” we would probably be in the top 10.  The OOC games we know of next year are at UK, ACC/B1G Challenge game (maybe vs. Duke, UNC, or Syracuse), and Butler.  The Legend’s Classic includes two games at home against mid-majors and two games against UCLA, Georgetown, or Georgia.  I would imagine we will have at least 3 games against top 25 teams in the OOC schedule.

The IU UK series needs to continue. I would prefer on campus but would take neutral court. After this year it would be a travesty to end it. Not sure what could replace it …..don’t have as much hatred for L’Ville. I guess we could keep beating down Butler but that will get old soon.
