The Times-Picayune: Gordon to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery; will be sidelined another six weeks

New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon, who has played just two games this season because of a bone bruise, will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Tuesday and will be out an addtional six weeks.

Gordon was diagnosed initially with the bruise following the Hornets season opening win on Dec. 28 at Phoenix, a game in which he made the winning shot in the final seconds.

He said later he entered the game with a sore knee, then the problem worsened after he knocked knees with Suns forward Grant Hill in the fourth quarter.
