It’s quite a roster. After all the upheaval of recent days and weeks, it’s nice to get back to thinking about what a great group we have to root for. Not only some really skilled athletes, but some really great personalities as well. Tip-off just can’t get here fast enough.

I thought Curts from Carmel was going to walk on? Or do they not list freshmen walk ons yet?

Sheehey gave up his number for Yogi? Interesting.

    “Agent Zero”

  • Oldguyy

Isn’t Elston down about ten pounds from last year? I wonder why,

  • Chuck

    Sheehey wore 10 last year

c’mon, Lawton…I know you just got done with the Bar (how’d it go by the by?), but you’re better than that.

My previous response (since deleted) was not meant to sound negative at all. I was trying to point out that Yogi isn’t taking Sheehey’s number, he’s taking Daniel Moore’s. This makes me think that Sheehey wanted #0, since obviously he wouldn’t have to give up his number for a walk-on (Jonny Marlin).

wasn’t he number 10 last year? and that number belongs to the new walk-on from IPFW.

  • Glawton12

Yeah my bad. Read several things wrong. It’s been a long few months.

  • RudyB

    What I wouldn’t give to see a lineup of #0, #1, #2, #3, and #4 at the same time.

I wish Sheehey wouldn’t have picked zero. I hate when players wear the number zero. I don’t remember any other Hoosiers ever wearing it.

Since last year, Sheehy, Abell & Zeller all grew an inch.

  • Remy Willing and Abell

Yes he is , ITH had a really good interview with him earlier and he said he was 100 % healthy for the first time at IU , that he had lost some weight while increasing his strength , and was working on his confidence and shooting . Could be a big lift this year .

    Kory Barnett!

So Cody is a legit 7’0″ now, Jurkin has put on 30lbs since he committed, Elston is healthy and is anyone else excited to see what kind of damage Perea can do to a rim in 15 min a game? I can’t wait for November!

  • Scott Moreland

could Yogi be the next Isaah?

  • tmichael2

    Why no freshmen birth dates?

this is gonna be a sick wit it season. we got equal matchups. Now indiana does have some vets in watford and oladipo and shehey and hulls, but kentucky has three of the top ten dunkers of 2012, thats Archie Good-win, Nerlens(Block party)Noel, and Alex(mini terrence Jones)Poythress lets go!!!!

  • stroot

Everyone, please keep your eyes out for Ashton Kutcher. I think we’re getting punk’d.

  • tomkat11

Hollowell listed as a guard? Didn’t know he’s gonna be playing SG this year instead of SF.

  • chiv86

Lol, are you so bored sitting in your mom’s basement that you had to come onto an Indiana basketball forum and make stupid comments?

  • xman007a

why do you think Calipari didn’t want to play them this year?

  • ben

    hulls is the next alford

  • IfLarryHadn’tLeft…

I have no idea how the rotation is going to play out
Back court: Jordy, Yogi, Vic, Remy, Mo, Etherington
Front court: Z, CWat, Sheehey, Elston, Hollowell, Perea, Jurkin

Etherington, Jurkin, & Perea are, in my mind, the least likely to crack the rotation, yet they’d make almost any other in the country.
Let’s assume the starters are Yogi, Hulls, Oladipo, Watford, and Zeller.
Sheehey will play starter’s minutes off the bench,
Remy should also get big minutes.
I honestly can’t see Elston not being the first big off the bench with his stroke.
Creek should get solid minutes early in the year to prove himself because, this year, I see him being a Roth-like play. Maybe not quite the shooter, but more athletic(hopefully)
Hollowell and Perea will take whatever’s left.
