I’m old school, but I like the fact that Coach Crean will sit players if they’re not doing what they’re supposed to be doing. I know he’s a charismatic guy, and a players coach, but I also know that he will get in these kid’s faces when needed as well. I’m excited about the fact that the team only had 7 TO’s with 0 coming from the VJ III/Hulls duo, who combined for 11 AST. I hope Christian Watford will play as well as advertised coming into this season. Cody Zeller needs to keep himself out of foul trouble. I heard he picked up 2 quick ones early on in the game. This team has tons of potential, but they really need to close out games this year. I’m too pumped for the real games to start! HOO HOO HOO HOOSIERS!!

Sorry that announcers were unsure of the fouls.  Both the early fouls that they thought were on Cody were both on Vic.  Cody did not get his first foul until the second half and did end up finishing the game with only 2.

Ohh ok. That makes me feel better. If he gets in foul trouble against that small of a team he would definitely struggle against those big frontcourts in the Big Ten i.e. Minnesota, Ohio State, etc. Hopefully Tom Pritchard has improved in this facet of the game. This Hoosiers team will certainly need his presence on defense.

It is nice to see a fire in CTC’s demeanor when talking about the team play. He had that at Marquette. The past few years, it seems that he has been satisfied with mediocrity. He is past that now. It is not ok to be good enough. He wants to be the best. I love it when the media would ask him about something that they did well, and he would reply, “Yeah, but it wasn’t good enough.” This is going to be a fun year. Next year will be a great year.
