IUHoosiers.com: Haunted Hall Of Hoops To Follow Homecoming Football Game

The Indiana University men’s basketball team will hold its Haunted Hall of Hoops on Saturday, October 29 in Assembly Hall. Admission is free. Doors to Branch McCracken Court will open 30 minutes following the conclusion of the IU/Northwestern football game which begins at Noon.

“This event has grown each year and it is something our players and coaches enjoy being a part of,” said IU Coach Tom Crean. “Anytime we can play in front of a crowd this time of year we want to do it to help prepare us for down the road. This really serves as a second public exhibition game for our fans.”

A Cream and Crimson scrimmage will begin around 4:15. A little bit after 5 p.m., the annual costume parade should take place followed by a group photo with the Hoosiers. Players will then be available on the court for the kids and will also hand out a bag of treats which include candy and an autographed trading card.

I’m glad they are keeping this tradition alive if for no other reason than next year’s should be incredible. I might even fly up, suffer through an IU football game, just to see it…….Team A: Hullls, Vo, Sheehey, Elston, Zeller versus Team B Yogi, Harris, Hollowell, Perea, Jurkin…….(assuming Watford handles business and makes the leauge, and Harris decides to pick the best school offering)………….Who would win this scrimmage?    I’d say Harris steals the ball with 8 seconds left races to the end of the court slams it in for a 2 point lead, but mistakenly leaves 2.5 seconds on the clock, which is just enough time for Oladipo to hit another 65 foot Gus Johnson, and team A wins by one……………PS- not to say this year’s won’t be entertaining, but if Watford sits out again, just make sure Jordy and Zeller are on opposing teams, or the score will get out of hand….

Glad you are hyped, but the HH scrimmage had Hulls and Zeller together and that ened 45-43. Sheehey and Oladipo leading the way on the other team.

I just hope both Watford and Pritchard are back for it.

Nobody is more important on our team to Cody than Tom.
