Will Sheehey is not feeling this Q&A. Is he bored or tired or had a bad workout or….?

In any case, I’m glad Christian was there. Excited that he’s playing a lot of 3.

He looks really tired, at least to me.

Not sure when this Q&A happened, but I visited Cook Hall on Monday afternoon and as i was going in WS, RA, AE and DE were all coming out the doors drenched in sweat but smiling and joking with one another. There’s only so much gas in the tank..so maybe Will was spent by the time his media relations hat was on.

Maybe I am reading too much into it. But I really like CWat’s demeanor in this interview. He talked and answered questions like a leader… like someone who is tired of losing. This is type of attitude is imperative for a successful season this year. There was no stumbling or bawking at questions. He seems like he believes his optimism. I think that speaks volumes to his maturity and the leadership of Crean. They may have lost a lot coming into this year, but there is no culture of defeat to these guys.

Don’t read too much into Sheehey’s demeanor. He’s only a sophomore. He’s still learning.

Total speculation here, but Will definitely brought a little attitude to this team last season, as did Victor.

He has a year in the program, is certainly a lot stronger and more confident. Perhaps we are seeing a little of that here.

For the last 5 years, sorry to say, but our team has been too darn nice on the court. I want to see a little attitude. Preferably on the defensive side of the ball, when Will and VO are getting under the skin of the opposing wings. It’s a big part of the game.
