Slow week around here (things should ramp back up next week), but here’s a pretty nice mix of Cody Zeller that recently surfaced via TheIndianaRecruits on YouTube.

Included are clips from last December’s Hall of Fame Classic at New Castle, the McDonald’s All-American Game, the Indiana Junior-Senior All-Star exhibitions and the Indiana All-Star games at Bellarmine and Conseco Fieldhouse.

Haha, I would be getting sick somewhere underneath my desk had Cody committed somewhere else.  He is a game-changer.  He is so much more athletic than i had orginally thought and everything in his game is trending in the right direction.  Love all there is to love about his game.  Can’t wait to see him play for the Hoosiers.  He will have a tremendous career.

If he can consistently hit that turn around jumper at the :58 mark, it will be very difficult to stop him. All the great players develop that shot, because you can’t really defend it, especially at 6″10……..when’s the schedule come out! He is going to present some major match up problems, can’t wait to see him battle Anthony Davis in the Kentucky game…..

Hahahahahahahahaha. We now have one of the best players in the country in his class and he’ll most likely stay 3-4 years!  Gotta love it!

There is no way Zeller won’t be starting this year, regardless of TP.  He knows where to be at all times.  What until he hits the weight room.  BC

    Alex when is Hoosier Hysteria?bc

  • I believe October 14, but don’t quote me on that.

Good variety in that video, too. Cody banged a few times down low and still finished, showed some good quick moves off the dribble. Cleary the kid is tall, so dunking isn’t an issue. I like his stroke and the way he moves for a big man. He’ll obviously need to continue to bulk up, but I don’t think he’ll have any trouble holding his own in his freshman campaign.

Last couple of years..IU struggled to even get a shot off following a time out or for a set play just before the half ended…I mean it was pathetic. With Hulls penetrating..having a low post option in Zeller and various 3 pt options to kick it out too…the Hoosiers should solve this problem. I’ll bet Cody can even set a pick at the top of the key with out being called for a moving screen..now that WOULD BE something

It’s going to be awesome watching Cody for the next 4 years and for seeing the return of real Indiana basketball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That turnaround is just nasty as can be.  This kid will be the best out of the three for sure.  Once he starts playing with attitude and swagger look out.

He is going to be great to watch for the next few years.  Solid player all around.
