Just an incredible athlete. Can’t wait to see him in the Hall.

  • I want to see the HH dunk contest between him and Oladipo!

I have seen alot of video of Hanner but this one is pretty impressive from the stand point, he is showing some good footwork and post moves. Shows his “erasability” on defense! (I just made that word up by the way). D.Davis going to the basket for a clear shot and Hanner finds the ball a new seat in the stands. He also goes after the ball on both ends. Another year should really help his game…as Cody found out, Hanner has at least one move…wow

Lets not leave out Will Sheehey in that dunk contest after all he was up for dunk of the year last season.

“I like going against players who are better than me or ranked higher!” Another great quote from Hanner….along with “I just wanted to bang on them”. Gotta love this kid.

He possesses the things you can’t teach.  For those that have watched him live, when he makes a move / dunk / etc. it is incredible.  It far surpasses anything I have seen in person.  The best thing Hanner could do is play as much 3-on-3 type bball (where he gets a bunch of touches) all summer long, work on his skills and let the rest fall into place.  One day he will figure it all out at IU and….it will be scary for the rest of the Big 10!

Hanner’s game just keeps improving since I saw him last fall in a scrimage against a South Bend high school team. I’ve seen him in three tournamenst this spring and the eyes don’t lie.
His offensive game is getting better. The only negative I saw Wednesday is he doesn’t run the floor like Cody, but what big does. Coach Crean will change that when he arrives next year.

A young Amare or Shawn Kemp. In H.S. both had the same athletic ability and got by on that primarily but continued to improve their game.

  • “erasability”…You better trademark that before Bilas steals it for the upcoming NBA Draft.

If he were Shawn Kemp he would never enroll

don’t know where you get that from, by all accounts Hanner runs himself into the ground every game and leaves it all out there. Good players should want to play against the best, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t motivated other times

You can’t teach raw potential like Hanner’s or the above-mentioned stars. It is obvious to me that coaches are working with HP on his footwork and post moves, if he puts it together…………sorry I just blacked out from happiness at the thought!
