2012 Hamilton Southeastern guard Gary Harris is one of the top 20 juniors nationally according to ESPN.com and the 6-foot-4, 195-pound junior poured in 22 points in last night’s Junior-Senior All-Star Exhibition at the Hatchet House in Washington.

    I was so relieved when our scholly situation was recently resolved for ’12 but then again that is a problem that I wish we had again…..for what I would call rather obvious reasons.

    Yes it is a big number to have in one class but something tells me that the scholly that would be used for Harris is also a scholly that will be available again in less than 4 years, very possibly 3 years.

    Could be the best of all of them, in my opinion.  If we lock him up, we will see a whole new brand of IU basketball on display that I don’t think any of us have ever seen.  Vic, Will, JH, Hanner, Buss, Yogi, Mo (if healthy, Lord please make him healthy), and Cody….the pure athleticism of these kids will make us tough to beat, because I think it makes up for small mistakes a lot of times.  Harris can do it all.
