HD Video: Demetrius Jackson at Spiece Run ‘N Slam

by in Video | May 11th, 2011

2013 Mishawaka Marian point guard Demetrius Jackson indicated new interest from Indiana on his Twitter account yesterday and Kyle Neddenriep of The Indianapolis Star confirmed it with Jackson’s AAU coach, Rod Creech.

In addition to the interest from IU, Jackson, who plays for MBA Select, is being recruited by Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and Xavier. Here’s what our friend Dylan Burkhardt over at UMHoops had to say about Jackson after watching him in Ft. Wayne:

A self described combo guard, Demetrius is capable scoring the ball, but made sure to point out that he “likes to have the ball in his hands as a point guard” as well. He looked to be a very capable setup man this weekend, constantly dishing to his teammates after getting into the lane, and also shot the ball very well.

Jackson, along with Josh Newkirk and Jalen James, is the third 2013 point guard that Indiana has started to recruit recently. Here’s HD video of Jackson from the Spiece Run ‘N Slam, courtesy of UMHoops:

UMHoops also has HD video of Mark Donnal and Zak Irvin from Run ‘N Slam.
