I really like his game. And he’s only a freshman. Wow. He will continue to improve all the time, and I think the 2014 class, if Blueitt and Jaquan commit can be as equally talented as 2012.

    Agreed!

He is a pure scorer. As he develops physically and rounds out his game in the next couple years he will be unreal. This kid can straight fill it.

I actually think this class has the potential to be better. Often times overlooked because the 2012 is more significant for the resurgance of the program…but damn good, especially with Bluiett and Jaquan.

It’s good to know that we will have creator/leader-type point guards in yogi and james for years to come

A doctor friend was telling me that sometimes a gray streak in a young kid’s hair can be a sign of a genetic issue that also includes hearing trouble. Hope this doesn’t affect JBJr.

Hope the NBA changes to a two and done. James is way far ahead of players his age. The big challenge will be to continue and at that rate he’s no doubt a lottery pick down the road!
Really don’t think I’m to far out on a limb here!

    He’s a coach’s son….enough said :)

He’s a solid player, but many games not the best player on his team. Evan Blackmon his cousin often carried the team. Now, to be fair, Evan’s a senior and JBJ is a freshman.

If you look at our roster for the ’14-’15 season, our potential starting lineup could be PG-Yogi, SG-Blackmon, SF-Hollowell, PF-Lyles, C-Zeller. Then have guys like Hartman, Patterson, Davis, Perea and maybe Bluiett and Lyle off the bench!! Unreal! That team would rival the early 90s teams in terms of talent and depth. Someone gets in foul trouble, next man up! Someone gets injured, plug in the guy behind him who’d start on most other Big Ten teams!
