Gary Harris shines in 62-51 win over Fishers

FISHERS — On Tuesday night, 2012 prospect Gary Harris recorded 23 points, two rebounds and two assists in a 62-51 win over crosstown rival Fishers.

The 6-4 guard shot 8-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from the free throw line and did a little bit of everything in the win, knocking down jump shots and attacking the rim off the bounce. Early in the game, Harris showed off his athleticism with a two handed put-back dunk from a teammate’s missed layup.

He did a nice job of getting to the foul line, attacking the rim and accepting contact in exchange for opportunities at the foul line. This was an efficient contest for Harris as he limited his mistakes and didn’t force any shots. Harris also did a great job on defense, disrupting passing lanes and recording two steals in the contest.
