It’s hard to believe that Watford is only 19 or 20. He’s a mature individual. And I know the competition isn’t Big10 quality yet, but he’s going to make one of the all-Big10 teams, for sure.

true that. i like listening to watford during interviews. doesn’t give away anything and is very humble. you can tell he is an extremely confident person.

As CW would say… “oh yeah”

Thanks for posting the videos. Watching Crean is contaigous.

    * 5 freshman scored their first basket, 3 Indiana kids
    * The +/- ratio for players really emphasized by Crean
    * Microcosm of how they need to get better:
“do what you have to do for us to be better (not necessarily scoring): Exhibit A: J Rivers”)
    * I most enjoyed video part 3, around 3:45 mark on… and the first two mins of part 4. He really talks basketball.

It’s almost too humbling, he comes off as “ehh yeah we did that…Yeah I scored a career high points no big deal… Yeah I just shattered the backboard causing a 20 min stoppage in the game, they will get a new one though…. LOL

We can only hope Watford emulates Kobe Bryant’s play, leadership, and work ethic as well as he does his interviewing style… that was uncanny and… encouraging!

Hopefully he doesn’t emulate Kobe too much…
