Wow. I love this class already, and I cant wait to add a few more names to it. Nothing gets me pumped like a blocked shot (I jumped out of my seat when VO saved the game last night) and this video has my pusle at 430! I cant wait to have these defensive stoppers on the court at once. Buss really impressed me.

About Jurkin being the ‘best center in 2012,’ is that more optimistic thinking or is he really that highly thought of now?

The jump was actually 6’7″ Hanner Perea, which is even more impressive. Jurkin’s athletic and has a very long pair of arms, but 12′+ like that is VERY out of the ordinary.

Patterson reminds me of Shannon Brown who went to Michigan State when he is in stride. They both have great strides and can finish. Brown is probably a better athlete (especially now) but really looking forward to these guys getting to B-Town!

Wow if that doesn’t get you pumped up you might want to call 911…immediately. Crean should make one big dvd of Azur’s vids and have any prospective recruit sit down to review some game tape and then leave the room for a few minutes and then when he returns act like he didn’t know he was putting ” THAT ” one in the player. It would have to increase our chances with any kid with a pulse.

For those of you that, unfortunately, know of a dipstick over on another site, that goes by the name of 4guards, I still can’t believe I typed that, he should be tied to a chair and have his eyelids taped open and made to watch Azur’s vids until he repents or promises to leave the country and never return.

Just watched it again, ok I won’t lie I watched a bunch more times. The dunk at about the 58 second mark where the dunk comes off of a missed shot has to be my favorite…right now. That had to have been one sturdy rim. Past tense intended.

Life imitating art ? Just like big things are getting ready to happen for IU bball the music towards the end of the tape reminded me of when in the original Omen movie you could tell something big was getting ready to happen when the music got like that. I’m looking at you big bad blue and not as the one handing out the punishment either. Get on the couch now cause we will soon be your worst nightmare !!

i dont think people are giving peter jurkin the credit he deserves i think he can b a big time 4 year player for us his timing on blocking shots seems to be natural and his athleticism for his size is unbelieveable

I remember when David Robinson was in college and the point everyone kept making about why he was such an effective shot blocker was that he was left-handed, which put his dominant hand in front of the shooter’s dominant hand. The thing that stood out most for me in the clips of Jurkin was that (and I am in no way, shape or form suggesting he’s David Robinson,) was that he was equally adept with either hand on shot blocks.

Azur – this was excellent – thought I was listening to Wagner there for a bit…throw in chumbawamba (they had one of my favs where the refrain was something like “I fell down and got up again” something that is certainly apropro for IU hoops…I hope the athletic dept sees this – great work!
