It’s great to see Crean so positive. He’s always been guarded and tentative (for good reason). We’re coming back!

Tim Garl needs to give Guy a tranquilizer before post game interviews.

Didn’t realize the media was dressing up too. Scared me when the ogre walked up at the 2:40 mark on CTC’s interview.

Is it me or would you hate to bump into Guy in a dark alley.

Another thing . . . Daniel Moore saying “my role is to really push guys in practice . . . I know I’m not really going to see a lot of minutes” says to me that if he plays like he played tonight and hustles his *ss off and puts out that type of an effort then he deserves to play some minutes! I’m not saying he should be out there 20+ minutes per game but his head is in the right spot to help the team and a guy like that tends to help when he’s on the floor for short stretches too so I wouldn’t be upset at all if he got 8-10 minutes a game!

Has anyone else noticed how VERY MUCH better this year’s team is from last season’s? IU has basically added 6 good players to last year’s group: Guy is a real presence in the paint at 7’1; Will and Vic are great athletes who add a dimension on defense, fast break opportunities and rebounding that was missing last year; Roth has definitely improved as an all around player that can flat out shoot; Maurice WILL be back and when he is he is All Big 10 caliber: Danny Moore is totally different, poised, experienced, with a much improved offensive game and with the same energy. As for last year’s team Watford is clearly All Big 10 caliber; Verdell should be as well; Derek looks like he will play his way into solid minutes and contributions. I have NO doubts about Jordy, but last night was not his best; Pritchard and Capo need to increase their production, but playing next to Guy should open up their games. Rivers is an unknown at this point, but he does have great athletic ability.
