• Is there anyway to get a clip of the opening video’s they showed?

One of the interesting things that I think will develop from Hoosier Hysteria and somewhat the injury to Hummel….is, who will start at shooting guard? I can say with confidence Mo Creek won’t start til January if at all. My gut tells me Crean goes ‘combo’ guard….

    G Jeremiah
    G VJ3
    F Christian
    F Elston
    C Pritch

I am pretty excited about Christians move to the three, he looked alot more comfortable on the wing…..I also think Victor is going to play quite a bit along with Matt ‘freakin’ Roth

  • VJ strikes me as a great kid. Smart and confident. VO is definitely going to shake things up,with his amazing athletism. If he can knock down free throws and hit the mid range jumper – than CTC has got some firepower on offense. We could be good if Creek is back by midseason, with CW, VJ, Roth (a player with something to prove), Guy (changing the defensived character of the team), Pritch (in great shape), Elston (stronger), Capo (steady and solid), Hulls (clutch player with great character), and JR (also something to prove – and clearly with some competition with VO present). Good IMO means NIT and at least 16 wins….can’t wait for the season to start….

When Tom Crean said at the rally that IU cannot afford to put players on the floor that can’t shoot, leads me to believe that Jeremiah will not get a lot of minutes this year. I think Crean was pretty frustrated with how he played down the stretch last year. Hence, I think Hulls will get the nod as a starter. I hope I’m wrong and hope we see a different Jeremiah this year though.

I must say this. I was at Cook Hall on Friday and ran into several of the ball players. I have two boys that looked like they were in heaven at the time. VO was getting ready to walk out and then I asked him if he would mind taking a picture wiht my boys. He smiled ear to ear and said yes. After that, he led us into the practice area, which was locked, and said take your time and look around. I really don’t give alot of kids credit these days due to their egos, but my family and I became HUGE fans of VO and every other player we ran into. TC has not only improved the value of the game at IU, but the class acts he has in those kids is simply amazing. Thanks TC and everybody else that has a hand in on all of this.
