They may not be a top rated class, but I think Hoosier nation is going to end up loving these kids!

  • Byoung

These are the type of kids that we can get excited about rooting for! Great character kids. Can't wait to see all of them make an impact on Indiana Hoosier Basketball!

  • Hardwood83

Obviously Guy is an attention hog- sheesh shut up and let the other fellas get a word in.

  • Kelin Blab

+ Not alot of (I) statements, lots of we, the team, family
+ Not letting my teammates down (priceless)
+ Guy is Big at 278 and Long with 7'8 wingspan….
+ How Big is Guy….Bawa was a chiseled 242, Tijan was a rock solid 255…Guy has them both by 20+ pounds
+ I know there is an expectation of Victor getting alot of P/T, but I have every reason to believe Will is coming to play.
    + I love energy guys……..
+ Victor isn't a leader or the leader of this team right now…but he will be.

  • Here's a challenge: try watching both videos without smiling once. If you're an IU fan, I think the word I'm looking for here is “impossible.”

CTC, VO is a high energy player. He likes to scream, get the crowd pumped up and loves to dunk. If you cannot find a place for him on the floor for at least 10 min a game, it will be tragic. When the Hoosiers begin a scoring drought, send VO in, though he is not proficient yet on offense, he can at least change the vibe on the court and pick up a steal, reb, or dunk.

  • Diesel

Getting an AJ Moye vibe from VO

  • Wmrobinson

I like that Hulls was mentioned at least twice as a leader and a big voice on this team. It might be hard not to start a floor general for years to come.

  • MillaRed

I like the fact Victor always talks about helping, playing etc. He seems pretty darn confident he will be getting his minutes.

I like Sheehey's demeanor. Seems to have a good sense of humor and is smart.

Guy ain't a talker. I hope he looks peed off like that every time he blocks a shot.

Welcome to IU dudes. We're glad to have you.

I think sometimes you can learn just as much about a kid from video such as this as you can from a video of them playing or maybe you can learn a lot about the player as a whole from video like this is a better way to put it.

I liked the way that when a question was asked by the media but not directed at any one particular player VO did not shy away from leaning up to the mike and answering the question and at the same time did not automatically jump to the mike like he had to beat the others to it but rather leanded back and looked at both of his teammates to see if they wanted to field it before speaking. It was like I have been talking but if neither one of you want to answer the question I will cause that is what needs to be done and if me talking some more is what it takes to get the job done than I don't have problem doing that.

    1) See nothing but positive things from VO at this point.
    2) With the energy CTC puts out on the sideline & VO's energy on the court there may be a sonic boom somewhere along the way in AH this year after he throws down a viscious windmill dunk.
    3) VO looks bigger than I thought he would even sitting next to Guy.
    4) Guy looks bigger than what I thought he would which makes number 2 even better.
    5) WS doesn't look quite as big as I thought he would….
    6) but when he spoke he sounded like a young man that was confident about himself, his game, his teammates and maybe more importantly the choice that he made about coming to IU.
    7) Maybe they should sell chances to throw an alley oop to VO for a dollar a chance at Hoosier Hysteria. The athletic budget is suddenly in the black big time and that is after just the first few that buy chances.
    8) If we can get some decent production out of Guy and it doesn't have to be just points it will go a long ways towards us being a lot harder team to beat and the, Crean can't develop a big man, will be put to rest for good and should go a long way towards showing future bigs that when the other coaches are telling them that it is just a bunch of bs. Are you listening Mr. Jurkin and other bigs ? While I haven't seen what these kids can do on the court I already feel better about the upcoming season and future recruits.

  • Hoosiermike

I saw WS when I was poking around Cook hall last week. He did not look very big to me… I am not sure what he as been listed at but, I would guess him to be 6'0 165 lbs.

  • Outoftheloop

I am going to enjoy the play of this 3 man class. They seem to be good kids.

  • Outoftheloop

    Try 6'5/ 190.

  • I was thinking the exact same thing

  • Kelin Blab

Guy looks alot bigger to me too
I would certainly put up $5 to throw an alley oop to VO from the stands.
A three headed monster of Guy, Pritch, and Cap should at minimum produce each game 16pts 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. If these guys can that that would be AWESOME!

  • Kelin Blab

Milla I like the fact Guy isn't a talker and kinda snippy with the press. I don't want my 7 footers smiling or laughing, just looking mean, knocking people to the floor, and finger waving rejected shots.

  • MillaRed

He really is the key to our season, which makes me nervous. Watching Bawa
and Tijan was like pulling teeth.

I'm not asking for much this season. I just want to enjoy watching Indiana
basketball again. Am I asking for too much?
