Video: Hanner Perea’s ridiculous athleticism

  • 07/27/2010 7:53 am in

One player near the top of Indiana’s 2012 wishlist that we didn’t get a chance to see in Indianapolis or Louisville is Hanner Perea. (The highlights below are from Perea’s first game at the adidas Invitational, the only game he played in the event.)

Our friend Jody Demling of The Courier-Journal put together a short highlight clip below, showcasing the 6-7, 200-pound forward’s ability to rise and finish. You can view the video here.

Here’s a brief update on Austin Etherington from Jody’s blog.

After reading the article on Bhullar, I have good news from an “inside source.” My wife and I are expecting and we find out the gender next week. She say's it feels like a boy (her feelings were right last time regarding our daughter). I am 6'4″ and my wife is 6' tall. Based on the stats of Bullar's parents our boy will be 7'6″, 320 pounds.

We will pretend to drag the recruiting process out just so we can mess with Kentucky, followed by an ITH exclusive announcement on the next Hoosier behemoth. With Ty's help in the post, IU should be able to raise it's 10th banner. Please start working on nicknames now.

Dexter was one of my favorites. Give Breaking Bad a try, too. I just finished Season 3 and I loved it.

Congratulations and Good Luck!!! If he's gonna be that large then let's call him “It's Big” and be done with it!

Yup, I love me some Breaking Bad! And, apparently, so do meth heads:

I think the younger one looked better. More athletic at least.

I guess I'm on a whole different plane than you guys because I'm just excited that they're going to make some new Beavis & Butthead episodes.

See what kind of “Extras” UK will offer and then turn them in to the NCAA. Make sure you deal directly with Criminalipari.

  • Bryan

I see Wes being more akin to Maurice Levy (the lawyer). Not the top guy, but smart enough to stay out of the fray while still enhancing his own standing at their expense.

  • IUfanPurduePhD

Ha ha, I thought about that. And, actually, I wanted to make Calipari out to be Marlo — a guy that thinks he owns it all even though he never accomplished anything.

  • IUMIKE1

He would just say that it was his almost never before seen evil twin brother. Two Criminalaparis now that is a scary thought ! If the NCAA won't / can't do anything about him maybe we can get Homeland Security to take care of him since what he is doing to college bball is a real threat to something highly valued by most true Americans.

I'll get the Facebook page set up right away….”yeah.”

I like Dexter but never got around to watching all of it (although I love the plot and went through all of it on wikipedia just to find out what happens). Treme looks great but depressing, I'm also waiting for the DVD. I don't expect everyone to love Mad Men but that's a good one. And as someone said below, Breaking Bad is great. (not sure why I just posted all my favorite shows, but it is what it is)

Yeah – Breaking Bad is great.

Ooh great point. WWW is definitely Levy
