Nic Moore of Warsaw is the best player in NE Indiana and the best player at Huntington 4A & 1A Semi-State last Saturday.
Bowman had some good players, but none were better than Nic Moore of Warsaw the 4A Semi-State champs.

Anybody know if Terone Johnson is the son of the Terone Johnson that played at USI in the early 90s? That dude could jump out of the gym and would have been D-I himself if not for grades (didn't finish at USI, either.)

I have never seen these guys play, as I live out of state, but I actually like seeing that DSR shot just 2-for-5 in the first half, but had four rebounds and five assists. It shows he's got other skills than just scoring and can find ways to contribute even when not scoring. That's something IU has been lacking a bit.

I have not seen alot of DSR to make an honest assessment. Those of you who have, even this past weekend…simple question: How does DSR help IU? What position does he play?

On a side note…I hope purdue loses by 20 today. You can surely bet Iowa will go after N. Iowa's coach. Will Moses steal the headlines this week and commit to IU? Does anyone know if the state finals will be on tv?

47-45 in four overtimes! Two of the overtimes were scoreless because Forest Park held the ball the whole time. Absurd! They need to add a shot clock in high school. (And get rid of the class system)

There are a ton of great players playing in the state. Indiana high school is truly loaded with talent at every level. Lets just hope IU can snag a couple of these kids. Smith-Riveria and Zeller look to be the best bet, but I cant get a read on Zeller. I guess we will know more as he moves into his senior year and should probably be making a decision soon. Branden Dawson is a monster. His numbers are incredible. Seems like he scores 24 a game and pulls down around 14 boards a contest. I hope he doesnt go to Purdue, they will remain relevant if they can get his size and talent along with the others that have already signed.

Great atmosphere at Southport on Saturday. The crowd for the morning game was close to capacity. Zeller outplayed Carrol (neither looked great) and in general just looked more skilled. I am not a scout by any means, but I would bet Carrol will be step slow in the Big Ten. He didn't seem to have great foot speed, but he did have a pretty nice stroke from 14-18 feet.

I saw Brey and Beilein and heard Tim Buckley was there as well.
