as others have pointed out, the kid has only been in the states a few months…hes not some spoiled american who coaches have been drooling over since he was a freshman in high school…whats wrong with taking his time? i just feel sorry for you and anyone who encounters you on a daily basis….

I spout reality, while most on the boards go for hype and completely clueless and are sold on the purity of big time players.

Everybody is going to be IU's savior and they are all just sweet kids and don't even care what adoration they get. NOT!!!

I have never seem someone spout so much negativity. Not only on this website but on Hutchen's blog as well. It sounds as if some self meditation in a dark room might be the cure for your ills and then you might actually have a few moments of clarity or happiness before the bitterness comes again.

tberry.....I don't think also Moses is 'that' type of kid. He is literally weighing his options and I commend him for doing that. I don't think the kid has been in the U.S. very long, he has some talent that schools are after and he is looking two schools that offer vastly different things.

Do you want immediate P/T, a coach that wants to put an emphasis on your offensive game or do you want to be groomed into another GT great big man with an already established team?

I cannot compare Moses to an EJ, Ebanks, Selby or any other IU recruits because this kid has not been in this country very long as far as I know, and has not been seeking the spotlight. Unlike KI, who seems to be a good kid, Moses is not on twitter discussing this nor in front of the camera's....

I guess it depends on how many times you have witnessed this thing in the past. In the last few years I can't remember one really good player that IU has been after that hasn't done exactly the same act and each year it seems to get worse. I think anybody that thinks that these kids don't know how good they are and play the pursuit for all it is worth are deluded. Go back and look at ALL the really good players IU has been after for the last few years or is still wishing about and you will see the same crap happen over and over. it is kind of like a sport ebay. The longer a demand player holds out the better offer the kid can get from several school competing for their service.

Perhaps I'm naive but I don't really see it like that. Here you have an 18 year old kid from a different country trying to decide where to spend the next 4 years of his life. This is a big decision. Would it be best to know definitively where you're going before announcing a commitment date? Sure it would. But I still see this as more of a lapse in judgment/logistics than a calculated move to get in the spotlight.

This is the same thing EVERY “star” does. How many time do you have to see it to recognize it?

Anyway we can show some of the same enthusiasm and passion for some of the Indiana High School recruits? If we court them as much as we are courting this guy (fan base and coaches) I guarantee we will land some of the states top prospects.
