I would say $35 or so could get you in the lower level. I'd definitely try to avoid the upper level unless you're 1. Towards the middle of the floor and 2. In the first couple of rows.

Who do we all think will start in Creek's place tomorrow…Dumes or Elston? I'd like to see Elston but I think he's better suited as the 6th man for now. No matter what, it's a huge loss and definitely takes some W's away from the season.

High up is not great. Its a vertical drop like climbing a mountain. I doubt you would have much of a problem scalping a ticket especially with the Creek situation. The only thing that makes me hesitate is that its the first B10 game of the year but students shouldn't be back yet so there should be seats

Hey guys, Michigan fan here. Thinking about buying tickets for the game Thursday, but stubhub and ticketmaster are rather short on tickets. Only thing I could find on ticketmaster for 3 people was section CC row 12. I've never been to Assembly Hall. Looking at the seating chart this seems to be pretty high up. How bad of a seat would that be? Also, what is the scalping situation like around IU these days? Would that be a better decision? Really appreciate the help

Nice article, and great idea. It'd be cool to see some more of these for conference games. Great job on this side, Boz.

Landing Selby would be an incredible victory for coach Tom Crean and the program. I think our incoming class and the freshmen from this year should guarantee us at least a 1-3 NIT seed, but if Selby was added to that class I think IU is a surefire tournament team. That kid's got outstanding athleticism and could dominate running isolation plays in the college game.

As for Thursday, losing Creek hurts a lot. It's difficult for me to imagine how the team will adjust, but I was already very high on Watford and Rivers. They'll be the primary guys asked to score more, and I imagine Dumes will get a chance to supplant Creek as a big threat from outside. Dumes has had trouble fitting into a secondary role, maybe he'll look better in this capacity. Hope so. I don't want to offer up a prediction because conference play is a whole 'nother beast but I'm really excited for the real Big Ten season to finally get underway.

Sorry to change the subject of this post, but does anybody know any details on Selby? Because there was an insider article where his mom talked about indiana as being the darkhorse.

On a game note, I think IU will be very competitive, and it will be a close game. Not going to call who wins, but I think the team that has less turnovers and makes more free throws will win.
