Got it. Thanks. Also…not to load you up but I used to subscribe to Inside Indiana and after the season got rock'in and roll'in they would put publish on the back page the win/loss record for each school during the seaons for all of the B10. It was a nice reference to look at to see who had who left at a glace. I'm sure there a place we can go to get that info but it would be nice to have it on one page here…your thoughts?
Also, let's think about getting a small section or meeting place for the ITH gang during MM. Not sure how to wing it but I'm sure we can come up with something.

(To change your display name, go to your Disqus profile, click on the my settings tab and then information.) For example, my display name is Alex but that is not the username I use to log-in.

I went to school at OU (born in Bloomington) and none of us could believe when Indiana hired the Evil. I always looked at him as the antithesis of Coach Knight because his players never graduated and he had the reputation on this campus of doing whatever it takes to win. I always had great pride in my Hoosiers for having a level of integrity that went beyond games and banners. I feel we got very fortune to get a coach that will instill those values in our student-athletes and at the same time put a winning product on the floor. Eric Gordon & Blake Griffin on the same NBA team is too much…I love this game!

I can't say that Crean was my man to replace RMK, but he was my man to replace Davis. I'm very happy with Crean so far in all respects.

I think the bullet that Brand tried to avoid by keeping the players happy by retaining Davis found its mark, just much later. Would have been better to blow everything up when RMK was fired. We would be much further down the road and wouldn't have wandered in the wilderness for so long. 20/20 hindsight of course.

Agree with you 100% ouhoosier. Wanted him when Mike Davis was hired, wanted him when you know who was hired after Davis. Ran into Crean in Indy right after the you know who hire and told him that he was who I had wanted to lead us both times that there had been an opening. Our conversation led me to believe he was not ever offered the job. Then seeing how he reacted when he was offered the job I knew that my belief that it had not been offered before had to be correct. I can still remember where I was and what I was doing when the announcement was made. ( I just can't bring myself to say or type the name of that one person without using language that is not permitted here).

Pretty much every comment to this point has been “we're probably a long shot”, don't see any entitlement. Not sure if Selby would be a 1 and done, he probably would, but you never know how it would play out, but even if he is, he would still be great for the program IMO.

At this point in the rebuilding process it probably is a plus just to make it to his final 5. The fact that we got in on him so late and still have not been cut out of the picture says alot about Crean and his ability to recruit. It tells me that there will be a time in the not so distant future that the conversation will not be about that we made it onto a 5 star's final list but rather that recruit is going to sign with us. Don't get me wrong I would love to have him even if he is a one & done any down side to having a one & done at this point is greatly out weighed by the positive PR that would come from it. Besides I don't think Crean would take ANY kid he thought might be a minlus for the program in any way.

Initially I thought we had no shot at Josh and that they were just being polite about the “everybody's the same to us right now” speech. Now I'm thinking maybe they are really open to the possibility of Josh going to IU. I'm not saying we're at the same level as other schools who have been in the hunt longer than us, just that we're doing ok for having gotten involved so late.
