I just downloaded the podcasts. The Fred Glass interview was good. I think it's great to step back a little bit and think, you know what, if he show's up, that's great. If he doesn't, that's great too. How nice is it to finally have an IU administration that openly addresses this situation and even says "understandably" when referring to him not wanting to come back? Whether you like him or hate him, it is absolutely understandable if he doesn't want to come back. He was here for 30 years and then got the boot. That's an emotional thing. However I am optimistic about this situation simply because I dont think the University would go out on a limb like this without a feeling from perhaps Bob Hammel or others close to Knight that he would possibly be willing to accept. I think the fact that Bob hammel is involved is a good sign. He more than likely knows Coach Knight better than anyone outside his family and I don't see him wasting his time on this if he thought it would fail. My big question is. How do they do the Hall of Fame induction at IU? If Coach is coming back they better have it somewhere that lots of fans can attend.
