It was in general and mostly directed towards the Williams and Roth haters…no one needs it…the players or the site. Well, maybe Jobe…JK. There isn't any need to get defensive. Maybe you should read your #2 and #3…I think it sounds like agreement???

If you are referring to me I do not recall ever commenting negatively on a recruit or Crean's scholly offers….and if I have I bet it was hopeful vs negative. I donot think I am special in this regard.

I think others are sometimes critical but usually honest and thought out in which case I donot consider it “crap”.

I think 90% of folks are pretty good on ITH and pretty honest which is why I donated money to the site……….I see crap on other sites however which is why I read those but donot post there.

I suggest when you see something you think is “crap” do us all a favor and let er rip.

My comments FWIW:

#1. If he has 10 schools he is still considering, 3 blogs per school, that makes 30 to follow daily ==> if IU is in the top 3 then I think he "might" look in, otherwise he could spend his time better on the court working on something

#2. As rough as many of you guys have been on Williams,Teague etc I am not sure it is a good thing ==> I hope kids listen more to the coaching staff than us

#3. Nevertheless, positive comments can never hurt, negatives ones re: recruits in my opinion are never helpful

I have often thought about that and fans/blogs influence and I truly believe it can help. I am for certain these kids read these blogs and know what is being said about them.
