Audio: Marquis Teague at the adidas May Classic

Indianapolis Pike point guard Marquis Teague, the No. 5 player in the 2011 class according to Scout.com, talked to reporters about his recruitment Saturday at the adidas May Classic at Assembly Hall.
Although Teague said he would make a decision in June, his father Shawn told The Indianapolis Star that a decision is not likely until after July due to a busy summer schedule.

2010 IU target Kyrie Irving met with reporters Saturday morning at the Bloomington Sports Plex and Saturday afternoon at Assembly Hall.
Inside the Hall was there as the five-star prospect broke down his unofficial visit, a timetable for his decision and more.

St. Patrick’s point guard Kyrie Irving made the trip from New Jersey for a pair of Saturday games in the adidas May Classic.
After a meeting with Indiana Elite and IU commit Matt Carlino at Assembly Hall, Irving fielded questions from the media.
On what he saw during his unofficial visit to Indiana on Friday:
“I’m going to major in journalism. I heard they have one of the best journalism schools in the country. So they showed me around there.”
On how Coach Crean is trying to sell him on Indiana:
“Just to make an impact right away, come in and bring them to the Final Four and be the point guard that he needs.”
On whether or not his family came on the visit:
“No, not at all.”
On the influence his father has on his recruitment:
“He’s my adviser right now. He takes care of all the recruiting calls. He takes care of all of that. I just go out and play.”
Marquis Teague still planning on June decision

Indianapolis Pike point guard Marquis Teague, one of the top players nationally in the 2011 class, is still considering seven schools and will be ready to end his recruitment in June.
Indiana, once believed to be a distant second in the race for Teague against Louisville, appears to be right in the thick of things.
“Tom Crean’s been calling me ever since he got here, so we’ve got a good relationship,” Teague said at Saturday’s adidas May Classic in Bloomington. “It’s close to home. I like Indiana.”
Besides Indiana and Louisville, Teague is also considering Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Purdue, Ohio State and Kentucky.
“I’ve got it down to my schools that I like and that’s what I’m going to look at,” he said.
