Not to say they're not valuable, but c'mon it isn't the end all be all. Only two schools offered Dwayne Wade a scholarship - Illinois State and Marquette under Crean.<br><br>Obviously this kid isn't going to be Dwayne Wade, but just because the consensus is he isn't a great player doesn't mean he won't turn out to be a solid pickup. A 6' 7″ lefty that scores slashing to the rim. A good athlete and rebounder. Plays on an excellent AAU team. A good student with a solid family behind him. What's not to like?

If he develops a jumper and plays tough D he sounds like a kid that will get minutes. We haven't had many true slashing small forwards under the last two regimes and now Crean has recruited two, Watford and Williams, in the span of about a year. I like it.
