I think we definitely get hosed…and not just because that's what every fan of a team thinks. I can't really be objective as an IU fan…but it just seems too obvious that calls go against us because we're the “bad team.” They aren't always what you'd call “game changing”, but it still makes me want to sling my beer at my flat screen…and that's dangerous.

I guess now I know what other Big Ten teams felt all these years. Maybe I'll have some sympathy for those teams when we're back on top…okay, probably not.

I agree with you guys. None of us have cried about officiating on this blog very often but this was a no doubter. IU was right there and was the better team but there were 4-5 calls that made no sense at all.

I like the fact we have the Big Ten channel to watch these games but they won't even come close to policing the officials. The commentators agree with every whistle and rarely will they show a replay of a controversial call. Big time gag order.

iS SENIOR DAY this week ? I hope all you guys in the Btwn area come out to show your love for Kyle Taber. He has been a bright spot for us after his early season injury. I feel he has made the most progress this year of anyone. We are not getting killed inside like I expected but rather killed from the perimeter and the drive.

I read the Pitino / Izzo article a few days ago and did not think much of it. If one of them goes I think it would be Pitino who has a track record of bolting jobs. Bottom line however I did not see any evidence/argument that made the case for these guys to leave their current digs. If its a major coach they are recruiting then we will not know until after the NCAA. I think Gary Williams would be a more likely pick since Terp fans are really down on him.

Hey guys, there was an article online about a possible rumor that Pitino would be the new head coach at Arizona. As a fan, I can only hope this is true. Get him out of the Midwest and get his recruits. Here's the article.

Do you guys believe this? It seems farfetched to me. I really wouldn't think that Pitino would want to move anywhere, let alone as far away as Arizona. Thoughts?

How much do you think the inability to practice against experienced players everyday hurts our development? It seems like that will be a big key to our improvement over the next couple years.

Overall, I like this team a lot. They compete hard, care about IU and the fans, and go to class. Sure, I'm sick of losing, but it just feels a lot better than things did a year ago.

Technical foul on the refs for being foul on their calls, I think Pritchard must owe those refs some money or they had nittany lions T-shirts under their stripes, because 2 of those fouls were pathetic. He looked completely stunned on one. We are having a rough enough season with out the refs dog piling on.

Crean could only laugh increduously or he would have blew a blood vessel in his brain.
