The NCAA is a proud (too proud) establishment. I got news for you Sampson. You were named coach of the year by these people. You blew yourself up and in that process the NCAA was tarnished. Pay the price sir. Look in the mirror and take some resonsibility.

I am from Madison, WI and in Indianapolis right now on my way south where I grew up. I will be stopping in Bloomington to show my son the campus for the first time? Why? Because it's Indiana. It's Indiana.

In three years we will be spanking big ten -ss and everyone knows it's coming. So we'll let Kelvin and the other haters have their say this year but that 6th banner will be hanging soon.

I hear what you are saying, but I also know about Alabama football players that went from Greeen County (the poorest county in the entire country) to living in the nicest housing in Tuscaloosa and driving escalades. In that perspective, making a few extra calls is a little less of a infraction. Alabama didn’t get near the punishment IU got for literally paying their players. Having been at IU and having been friends with basketball and football players (I was a gymnast), we weren’t even allowed to say hello to the recruits when I visited for Little 500 between IU and going to Alabama. As objectionable as Sampson’s behavior is in terms of not taking responsibility… phone calls shouldn’t really be what the NCAA gets their panties in a twist over.

I continue to be amazed by his lack of acknowledgement – I guess you have to break the rule a 1,000,000xs not a 1,000 before it beomces unethical. Hope this guy never, ever coaches again.

THe more sampson speaks, the more I think he should be banned for life and IU should find a way to sue his ass for something………I am fed up with his 'I did nothing wrong' and I wish some players would sue him or speak out against him……he is the worse of the worst…
