You know what is most depressing about Eric Gordon's career right now (aside from the fact that he is a Clipper)? He has to play with Zach Randolph. Now, Zach Randolph is a Hoosier and I loved watching the battles he and Jeffries had when I was a kid. BUT, the guy cannot be a good influence on a rookie. He punched Ruben Patterson in the face and nearly shattered it, and then tonight he tagged that crazy Louis Amundson of the Phoenix Suns tonight. What could they possibly talk about in the locker room beside being from the metro area? Zach Randolph might be an incredible guy. I know, quite literally, next to nothing about him. He may be the greatest human being in the world; one who adopts stray animals and finds them nurturing homes while raising carrier pigeons as his primary hobby outside of basketball. I honestly have no clue. But, it just feels like the guy is a little cold with a pinch of craziness thrown in, too. That being said, I just wish Eric Gordon had some real veterans around him to guide him through his first year in the NBA. I love Al Thornton and Baron Davis, but I have my doubts about some of those other guys. Godspeed Eric Gordon, Jr.. Godspeed.
