Reliving that Matt Roth 3-point barrage one last time

by Ryan Corazza in Video | February 3rd, 2009

I’ll be honest: I probably didn’t appreciate Matt Roth’s 9-of-11 3-point performance against Ohio State — shameless plug: Club Trillion! –  quite enough. He did, after all, tie an IU record. As a freshman. That’s pretty darn impressive any way you slice it. (Except if you slice it in triangles. That’s just not right.)

Thankfully though, the Big Ten Network brought him on  “Big Ten Tonight” to talk about it one more time. Watch as he answers what it feels like to “be in the zone” and how he should “do a temperature check” before tomorrow night’s game. Yippee.

    Seems like a good kid.

The last two games vaulted Roth to #8 in 3-point shooting in the Big Ten.

    Other notables,

    Pritchard #6 in rebounding
    Dumes #12 in scoring
Moore #10 in assists per game

    Certainly something to build on.

I keep wondering if Roth has seen video of Jay Edwards or Jimmy Rayl

AH! Jimmy Rayl... He still holds IU's single-game scoring record of 56 points
