		<description>I agree and wish Mr. Brand success in the difficult battle against cancer and a prompt and complete cure.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That is and should be true notwithstanding the fact that he did severe damage to the Indiana athletics program, first as President of the University and then at the NCAA, as one can see by tracing the lack of success of Indiana&#039;s entire athletic program (and not just basketball!), a decline which commenced during his tenure and has continued since.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I also believe that he has damaged sports in general by his politically correct and factually incorrect assault on names and mascots of basketball teams.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So I wish him health and all good things , but that he move on to a position outside of collegiate athletics where he can no longer damage Indiana University and/or collegiate athletics in general.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;West Coast Hoosier</description>
