The meager crowd was as loud as I've heard them this year, students or no students in attendance. While there were about 100 people in each balcony, I noticed 2 dudes sitting in the very top row of the west balcony (best seat in the house to take your buddy Jack Daniels to the game).

What's tragic is the fact that 14,827 showed up for Lipscomb. 3,783 less for the home conference opener?!?! That's F'd up, man.

It's just tough to stomach a loss like that, regladless of how "bad" this team supposedly is.

It's up there in my Top 10 of most depressing losses, maybe even the Top 5. It was almost worse than reliving last second stuff like half court Nick Anderson, .7 seconds against Charlotte, BT Tourney against Minnesota, Butch banking a three...not too mention the 2002 title game and that 50 point shellacking against Minny, and other horrors I can't recall at the moment.

I'm not down on the guys. I'm not bailing on IU basketball, I'm not disappointed with the effort or anything like that, it just freaking sucks, plain and simple. In the language of California surfer, I'm mega bummed, dude.

For the THIRD straight game I had to watch Daniel Moore dribble into the corner and turn it over late in the game. Really? Really? I mean...come on...again?

I hope the players and coaches can both rebound better than me from a tough loss like that. As you can see, I'm still really depressed today.

A heartbreaking loss. The TOs seem to be under control, Pritchard is staying out of foul trouble, blocking out and rebounding has improved. Now looking for work on the free throws.... maybe Crean can get Alford to talk to them... Haha....

I thought they played a great game, the baseline defense was much improved. Dumes played well even though he was out of control a couple of times. Jones III had his best game yet, he was aggressive offensively, knocked down some nice jumpers. Story had a bit of an off game and Roth was active. I actually wish Roth would have taken a few more of the open threes he had.

The trap defense Michigan switched to, really seemed to disrupt the offense, and the disruption continued even after Michigan switched out of it. It seemed to really rattle the offense.

It was good to see Calbert in the audience too!

There was great improvement, we've gone from bad (first 2 games) to played 15 minutes of good basketball, to 30 minutes of good basketball, to 20 minutes of great basketball. Solid, consistent improvement.

Great job Coach!

Go Hoosiers!

Let's take something into account people. The players were obviously tired as heck. The combination of the exhaustion, the pressure, etc. probably made them miss the free throws. It's an unfortunate loss, but when we were up by 15, I just didn't have the feeling that we would win

I LOVED Williams, Roth and especially Jones aggressively looking for shots in the first half. That really helps our offense. Even if the ball does not go in we are at least trying to score for more seconds and from more people during the shot clock. I thought this agressiveness was lacking in the second half. Maybe we were trying "not to lose" after getting the lead.

All in all I was surprised and happy to see us play well for so long.

I didn't realize you guys were still on vacation. Still, 11,000 is poor, but hopefully when students return that will change.
